Fundraisers

We're fortunate to enjoy the generosity of our incredible communities. So many people spend their own time and money to organize fundraisers to benefit the homeless pets at our shelter, and we couldn't be more grateful for their commitment to the well-being of our shelter pets.

Fundraisers are hosted by non-affiliated groups, organizations, schools, or individuals and benefit BCHS. Some of these fundraisers include:

• Lemonade stands or bake sales
• Car washes
• Golf tournaments
• Car cruises or carnivals
• Shelter and pet supply collections

We strive to support fundraisers to the greatest extent possible with the resources we have; however, we cannot guarantee volunteer or staff support, or the presence of an adoptable animal on-site. Requests may be added to proposals, and we will do our best to provide as much support as we can.

We kindly ask that all fundraisers follow BCHS guidelines and be approved in advance. Proposals should be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the scheduled fundraiser, although a minimum of 30 days is preferred.
