As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many families in our community who struggle to feed themselves also face the
challenge of feeding their pets. “As we watch the need increase at local food panties, BCHS is pleased to serve as the
western PA hub for GreaterGood’s disaster response efforts happing around the country,” said Susan Salyards,
Executive Director. “We are grateful to be able to host a second event thanks to the generosity of GreaterGood.org and
their partners who are providing the food and supplies for these events.”
Tueday’s distribution will occur as a no-contact drive-thru pick up, and individuals will be asked to stay in their cars as
food is loaded into their vehicle by BCHS’ staff members and volunteers. For the safety of all involved, staff and
volunteers will wear face masks and gloves. Those who are picking up food are asked to wear a face covering of some
kind as well.
To make a donation so that the Pet Food Bank can continue to support the pets and people who need it most: items can
