Volunteers are an integral part of our operations and help to ensure our continued success. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Applicants under the age of 18 are required to have a parent/guardian signature. Our volunteer coordinator will follow up with you to attend one of our volunteer orientation sessions. We want to insure that you have a safe, comfortable and fun experience, so additional training may be provided based on particular tasks in which you choose to participate.
We have a newly appointed Volunteer Coordinator. This addition to the staff will be able to assist new and experienced volunteers alike with suggestions and inquiries.
Volunteer Orientations classes will be held:
Each class will cover the basic information needed to volunteer at the shelter. Please, no flip flops or open toed shoes.
If you are interested in attending our orientation session, please e-mail our Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com or call 724-775-5801. If you choose to email, please be sure to include your name and a good email address or phone number to reach you.
